Further Studios collaborated with production partner Dragonfly to create a cinematic commercial for a VR dating application developed by Fire Flare Games.

The core challenge of the project was capturing the emotional experience of falling in love within a virtual environment — balancing futuristic technology with genuine human connection. The creative approach focused on building an immersive and emotionally resonant narrative that could communicate the platform’s unique proposition whilst remaining visually engaging and commercially impactful.

Through a combination of cinematic storytelling, stylised visuals, and carefully crafted emotional pacing, the commercial explored the intersection between technology, intimacy, and modern relationships, helping position the application as both innovative and emotionally relatable.

Results

The commercial delivered exceptionally strong results for Fire Flare Games, becoming a key asset in both user acquisition and wider investor communications.

The film successfully captured attention through its emotionally driven storytelling and premium visual execution, helping differentiate the platform within the emerging VR and virtual social experience market. The project was also recognised within the creative industry, securing two major creative awards and further elevating the campaign’s visibility and credibility.
